The company produces a variety of single malt whiskeys as well as a limited number of blends. The distillery is known for its long tradition of craftsmanship and for its high quality whiskeys, which are highly valued on the global market.

Glenallachie has had various owners in the past, including Chivas Brothers and Pernod Ricard. However, in 2017 the distillery was purchased by Scottish industry veteran Billy Walker and his business partners Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson. Since the acquisition, the company has used traditional methods and innovative technologies to further improve its whiskeys and establish a greater global presence.

The distillery produces a wide range of single malt whiskeys, including multi-season bottlings and vintage specialties. The Glenallachie Range includes, among others, the Glenallachie 12 Year Old, Glenallachie 15 Year Old, Glenallachie 18 Year Old and Glenallachie 25 Year Old. These whiskeys are characterized by their rich aromas and flavor profiles, ranging from sweet fruit aromas and spice notes to smoky, peaty elements.
