GlenAllachie 11 years 2012/2024 Oloroso Puncheon
The GlenAllachie 11 Year Old is an outstanding example of the fascinating diversity that can be hidden in a single Oloroso Puncheon cask. This Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey was personally selected by Billy Walker for the German market and has an intense aroma of mocha, heather honey and garden fruits. However, behind it there are also dark tones of cherries, fig jam and cocoa, which give the whiskey a unique complexity.
The GlenAllachie was distilled in May 2012 and bottled in February 2024. During this time it matured in an Oloroso Puncheon barrel, which gave it its characteristic aromas and flavors. With 58.3% vol. Cask Strength, this single cask whiskey is cask strong and therefore has a full and strong texture that is appreciated by many whiskey lovers.
