Glenallachie 10 Year Ruby Port Wood Finish
The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old - Ruby Port Wood Finish is an exclusive bottling developed by Billy Walker, a seasoned industry veteran. Part of the Wood Finish Series, this single malt whiskey has been matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks to develop classic vanilla and spice notes. The whiskey was then refined in hogsheads that had previously been covered with Ruby Port.
The combination of the robust Bourbon cask and the subtle sweetness of the Ruby Port gives this whiskey an unprecedented depth and complexity. The nose offers aromas of dark fruits, raisins and the finest chocolate. A harmonious interplay of ripe fruit, mocha and a hint of honey unfolds on the palate.
