Stauning Host Danish Double Malt Whisky
The Stauning HØST Danish Double Malt Whisky is an exceptional blend that captures the taste of the Danish terroir in a unique way. The raw materials for this whisky come from the region around the Stauning distillery, which is known for its high-quality products. The rye and single malt whisky are made here from carefully selected grains and matured in bourbon casks and heavily charred new American white oak barrels, which gives the HØST its characteristic taste.
Particularly noteworthy is the final maturation in first fill port barriques, which gives the whisky a fruity and floral note and rounds off the taste experience. The nose of the HØST beguiles with notes of vanilla, beeswax and citrus fruits, while the palate is characterized by meadow honey, toffee, apple and red berries. The aftertaste is syrupy and is accompanied by cinnamon, oak and a subtle spice.
