Stauning Dirty Bastard Rye
The Stauning Dirty Bastard Rye is undoubtedly a unique whisky. The triple maturation of the single rye whisky takes it to the next level. During the first maturation, the whisky was stored for three to four years in barrels made of American virgin oak. It was then aged for six to twelve months in Mezcal Casks from the Mexican manufacturer Oro de Oaxaca. To refine the whisky , it was finally aged for a further six to twelve months in Hot Chocolate Imperial Stout barrels from the Danish craft brewery "To ØI".
The result is a full-bodied and multifaceted whisky with a unique taste profile. On the nose it unfolds a play of aromas of grain, cinnamon, cocoa and tobacco. On the palate, notes of dark chocolate and vanilla, roasted nuts and chili as well as dark beer, hops and roasted malt are revealed. The combination of sweet and spicy aromas makes the Stauning Dirty Bastard Rye a special experience for the palate.
