The smell of Secret Islay 15 Years is characterized by notes of iodine, lemons, smoke, raisins, dried fruits and sugared almonds, which blend harmoniously with each other. The subtle sherry notes are also present and give the bouquet an additional dimension.
The first sip reveals a perfect interplay of sweet barley sugar and slightly bitter peat. A gentle hint of sea water, vanilla, sweet fruits and soft smoke completes the flavor profile.
