Meikle Tòir - The Chinquapin One is a special single malt from Speyside, which is stored in fresh oak barrels from Missouri. Due to the special storage, the whiskey develops robust notes of sweet spices and roasted nuts that harmonize perfectly with the peat smoke. The taste of this exceptional whiskey is complex and profound, making it a real gem among peated single malts.

Behind this brand is industry veteran Billy Walker, who together with The GlenAllachie is pursuing the ambitious goal of creating a peated Speyside single malt that is second to none. The name Meikle Tòir comes from Gaelic and means "great mission". This name is quite appropriate, because the production of this whiskey requires a lot of patience, commitment and craftsmanship.
