Each whiskey in the Mac Talla range is shaped by the weather-beaten coasts of Islay. It is non-chill filtered and contains no coloring, leaving an untamed flavor that leaves a lasting impression. The Mac-Talla "Terra" ("Earth") perfectly reflects this element with its powerful peat smoke. Millions of years old peat is a distinctive feature of the Islay landscape. It matures in ex- bourbon casks and is bottled at an aromatic 46% vol. Tasting notes: a slight note of pepper can be felt.
