The Morrisons are one of Scotland's oldest whiskey families and have had a strong presence on Islay for five generations. Mac-Talla, meaning 'echo' in Gaelic, perfectly reflects the Morrison family's association with Islay, as they always return to the famous whiskey island. Each whiskey in the Mac Talla range is shaped by the weather-beaten coasts of Islay. It is non-chill filtered and contains no coloring, leaving an untamed flavor that leaves a lasting impression. The Mac-Talla "Terra" ("Earth") perfectly reflects this element with its powerful peat smoke. Millions of years old peat is a distinctive feature of the Islay landscape. It matures in ex- bourbon casks and is bottled at an aromatic 46% vol. Tasting notes: a slight note of pepper can be felt.
