The special Lagavulin Distillers Edition Whiskey of the Year impresses with its unmistakable aromas and unique taste profile. Produced by one of the Islay region's most renowned distilleries, this whiskey is carefully selected and aged in ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and flamed American oak casks, giving it a multitude of flavors.
This single malt whiskey presents dark oak on the nose, behind which emerge sweet raisins and toasted malt, surrounded by a rich peat smoke that perfectly complements the aroma with its powerful intensity. Thanks to its special maturation, the Lagavulin Distillers Edition absorbs additional notes of caramel, vanilla and honey, creating a fully balanced and rich flavor profile.
