Kilkerran Heavily Peated is a single malt whiskey produced in Scotland . The Glengyle distillery team uses only locally sourced ingredients to create the unique Heavily Peated blend. The barley malt is peated with such a high phenol content that the whiskey has an extraordinary smoky note. The result is an intense, smoky whiskey with a flavor full of character.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: The nose is slightly mineral with peat smoke evident from the start and a malty grainy note.

Palate: Flavors of orchard fruit, apple blossom and poached pears emerge, while on the palate the peat smoke becomes more noticeable with notes of campfire glow.

Finish: A long, sweet finish concludes this heavily peated dram.
