Kilchoman Genesis Stage 4
Kilchoman, the Islay farm distillery, has unveiled the fourth installment of its limited series, Genesis Stage 4. This bottling is another chapter in the unique origin story of Kilchoman whiskey. What makes this release special is the exclusive cask combination of bourbon, cognac and sherry casks from which the whiskey was created. This is the first release in the Genesis series for which Cognac barrels were selected.
The bottling was produced in 2023 and contains an alcohol content of 49.1%. 75% bourbon, 20% cognac and 5% sherry casks were selected for barrel storage. A total of only 3,000 bottles were filled, with this exclusive bottling being produced specifically for the German market.
