Edradour 12 Years 2012/2024 Madeira Casks
The Edradour 12 year old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky that impresses with its complexity and curiosity. This small batch was made from a total of ten barrels that had previously been filled with fortified wine from the Portuguese island of Madeira. This gives this whisky a special note that consists of a mixture of strong, malty aromas and spicy, fruity-sweet notes of raisins, plums and baking spices.
This Edradour 12 year old was bottled at a drinking strength of 48.2% vol. and was not chill-filtered, which allows its aromas to come through fully. The 12-year storage in first fill Madeira hogsheads gives this whisky a unique color and an unmistakable aroma.
