Dingle Bealtaine Pot Still - Wheel of the Year series

After the single malts Samhain and Lá le Bríde for the Celtic New Year and the beginning of spring, the Irish are now starting the summer season with the single pot still whiskey Bealtaine.

No blend and no single malt, these Irish whiskeys are made at Dingle Distillery by distilling a blend of malted and unmalted barley in traditional copper stills.

The Bealtaine Whiskey stands for the Celtic festival of the same name, which symbolizes the beginning of summer. With a limited bottling of 5,000 bottles, it pays tribute to the long summer nights and the Bealtaine Fire Festival.

After aging in fresh bourbon casks and an extensive finish in first fill Shiraz wine casks, it celebratoryly unfolds notes of dried fruit, nutty caramel and dark chocolate.
