The production process, which is based on decades of tradition, includes numerous precise steps aimed at unleashing the whiskey's full potential.
The maturation process of the Bushmills 10 Year Old Barolo Cask takes place in two phases. First, the whiskey spends seven years in carefully selected Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, which provide it with a solid foundation and diverse aromas. This is followed by a three-year finishing in exquisite Barolo casks from the renowned Piedmont region in northwest Italy. This special method not only gives the whiskey its characteristic ruby-red mahogany color, but also a complex flavor profile that takes the connoisseur on a journey of taste discovery.
