Aberlour 11 years Archangel No.2
The Aberlour 11 Year Archangel No. 2 is an exquisite single malt whiskey matured in two first fill Oloroso sherry butts. This special storage ensures a rich and complex taste, which is characterized by fruity notes, especially dried fruit and dried fruit, as well as pleasant notes of nuts and spices. The whiskey has a beautiful dark color accompanied by the archangel Uriel, a symbol of the light in the dark.
What is special about this whiskey , however, is not only its taste, but also its connection to the history of the Aberlour distillery. In 1898 the distillery was almost completely destroyed by fire but it was subsequently rebuilt and is now one of the most renowned distilleries in Scotland. The Archangel No. 2 therefore bridges the past and evokes the tradition and heritage of the distillery.
