Wolfburn 10 Year Old Vibrant Stills Oloroso Sherry Butts
This Wolfburn from the Vibrant Stills series marks the 8th exceptional small batch release resulting from the collaboration between the Wolfburn Distillery and a German importer of premium whisky products. Two special Oloroso sherry butts were selected for this eighth edition: Cask No. 116 from 2014 and Cask No. 264 from 2015. As is Wolfburn's custom, the distillation was carried out with great care in small copper stills, using a slow, precise process that ensures the whisky's smooth texture and delicate balance. The whisky matured for over 10 years in aromatic sherry casks, developing rich aromas of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and sweet oak.
