The Fiddichside 35 Years Mission Gold
The Fiddichside 1989/2024 is an exquisite blended malt Scotch whisky that embodies the essence of the Scottish whisky tradition in perfect harmony. This fine tipple, distilled in 1989 on the picturesque Fiddich River in Speyside, was bottled in 2024 after 35 years of maturation in a limited edition of only 732 bottles.
Maturation took place in a carefully selected range of casks, including Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, as well as Pauillac wine casks, which give the whisky a distinctive complexity and depth. The finish in Pauillac wine casks gives the Fiddichside an elegant note, reminiscent of the characteristic fruitiness and fine tannins of high-quality red wines.
