Talisker Port Ruighe
The Talisker Port Ruighe is one of the finest single malt Scotch whiskies from the oldest distillery on the Isle of Skye. It has been produced here since 1830 and has enchanted whisky lovers all over the world with its unique aromas and flavors ever since. The special thing about this whisky is that its origins directly link it to the rugged seascape of the Isle of Skye. The Talisker Port Ruighe is produced by double maturation in port wine barrels. The name "Port Ruighe" is a tribute to the former trading port of Portree, which was once an important trading point for the port wine trade. This special note in the taste of the Talisker Port Ruighe is a tribute to the Scottish traders who once overcame the high waves of the sea to establish the port wine trade.
