The Talisker 8 Years belongs to the Diageo Special Release 2021 series and is an original bottling from the renowned Talisker distillery. This single malt whiskey comes from the Iceland region of Scotland and was bottled in 2021. With an alcohol content of 59.7% and the cask strength, this whiskey is particularly intense and strong in taste.
A special feature of the Talisker 8 Year Old is the barrel type. Heavily Peated Refill Casks were used here, which give the whiskey its intense smoky taste. Due to the lack of chill filtration, the aroma is preserved and the whiskey retains its natural aromas, making it a special taste experience.
