Stauning KAOS Triple Malt Whiskey
The Stauning KAOS Triple Malt Whisky is a masterpiece of Danish distilling that embodies an exquisite harmony between tradition and modernity. This whisky is the result of a careful marriage of three unique whiskies: a strong rye, an elegant single malt and a heather and peat-smoked single malt. This combination gives KAOS its characteristic, complex taste, which is characterized by gentle smoky notes, harmonious spice nuances and refreshing sweet citrus fruits.
The maturation takes place in new barrels made of American white oak and in first-fill barrels that were previously filled with liqueur wines and brandies. These high-quality barrels contribute significantly to the complex aromas of the whisky and enable a careful, slow development of the taste profiles. Using 100% locally sourced rye and barley, malted on the distillery's own malting floor, not only guarantees the highest quality, but also promotes a sustainable approach that puts Danish culture at its core.
