The Springbank 10 Year Old Amontillado is an outstanding example of the craftsmanship of the Springbank Distillery, located in the picturesque Campbeltown region. This limited edition is the third of five bottlings in the Sherry Series and offers an unparalleled tasting experience that transports the connoisseur to a world of aromas and nuances.
The whisky is aged over a total of 10 years. First, it spends five years in carefully selected bourbon casks, which give it a solid foundation of vanilla and caramel notes. It is then further aged for another five years in Amontillado sherry casks. This second maturation makes the Springbank 10 Year Old Amontillado a particularly complex and multifaceted experience, as the characteristic properties of Amontillado, with its nutty and fruity aromas, are harmoniously integrated into the flavor profile.
