Slyrs Marsala Cask Finish

The Slyrs Marsala Cask Finish is a unique spirit that impresses with the perfect combination of Sicilian Marsala and Bavarian whisky. The Marsala wine, which is named after the Sicilian port city of Marsala, is fortified in the traditional way to preserve it for transport by ship to England. This process stops the fermentation and preserves the residual sweetness of the wine. The Slyrs Marsala Cask Finish is made from a matured whisky made from the best Bavarian barley.

What is special about this product is the fact that the whisky matures in oak or cherry barrels that were previously used to store Marsala wine. This gives the whisky the fruity notes of the Marsala wine and creates a harmonious unity of fruity and spicy aromas. The Slyrs Marsala Cask Finish is stored in the Marsala barrels for at least a year to achieve optimal aroma development.
