Rum Club Private Selection Ed.39 Guyana 2006
The Rumclub Private Selection Ed.39 Guyana 2006 is a true specialty among rums. Distilled in the legendary Versailles Single Wooden Pot Still at DDL (Demerara Distillers Limited), it is one of the few rums that are still distilled in the traditional way. At over 200 years old, the distillation plant is one of the oldest and most unique in the world. The body of the pot still is made of Greenheartwood, which is mainly used in shipbuilding and hydraulic engineering due to its durability.
After 17 years of maturation in an ex- Bourbon barrel, including 8 years in Guyana and 9 years in Europe, this exceptional rum was bottled at the end of July. This long maturation period allowed the rum to develop an incredibly complex aroma that captivates lovers of the finest spirits.
The Mark REV used for this unique rum has attracted enormous attention worldwide in recent years. It is a favorite among rum connoisseurs and lovers of high quality spirits.
