Octomore 15.3 Heavily Peated
The Octomore 15.3 is a high-proof single malt whisky from the Bruichladdich distillery, which is produced in Islay in Scotland. This bottling belongs to the Octomore series, which is characterized by a particularly high PPM content of smoked malt. The Octomore 15.3 is the strongest whisky in the series with a PPM content of 307.2.
Only Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry Casks were used to produce the Octomore 15.3, giving the whisky a unique complexity and depth. The whisky was also bottled at cask strength, making it even more intense and authentic.
Particularly noteworthy is the Concerto Barley used, which is grown on McTaggart's Field at the Octomore Farm on Islay. This special type of barley is known for its high quality and distinctive taste and contributes significantly to the unique variety of aromas in the Octomore 15.3.
