Oban 10 Years Coastal Orchard
The Oban 10 Years Coastal Orchard is an exquisite single malt Scotch whisky that was bottled as part of the Diageo Special Releases 2024. This whisky embodies the unique flavors and characteristic depth of the Oban distillery, located on the west coast of Scotland.
Maturation takes place first in carefully selected refill casks, which add a subtle complexity to the whisky, before it is transferred to newly charred American oak casks. These casks are freshly seasoned with Oloroso sherry, which gives the final product a special note of baked apple. These fruity aromas harmonize perfectly with a subtle saltiness that is reminiscent of the distillery's maritime surroundings.
