Mars Tsunuki 2020/2024 Sherry Hogshead

The Tsunuki Single Malt Whisky, distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2024, is an exceptional example of Japanese whisky art. Aged for four years, this whisky unfolds an impressive complexity that results from careful maturation in a sherry hogshead This special type of barrel gives the distillate a profound variety of aromas that delights both lovers and connoisseurs.

With an alcohol content of 58.2%, the Tsunuki is impressive at cask strength and thus retains the intensity and character of the original distillate. The bottling comprises only 241 bottles, which gives this single cask (cask number 2334) a special exclusivity. The decision to forego coloring and chill filtration underlines the desire to offer an authentic and unadulterated taste experience.
