Macduff 14 years Lady of the Glen
The Macduff 14 Year Old, bottled by Lady of the Glen, comes from the Speyside region of Scotland and is a single malt whiskey. It was distilled on May 20, 2009 and bottled after 14 years of maturation in a 1st fill Oloroso Quarter Cask finish. The cask strength is an impressive 51.7%, which ensures a particular intensity and complexity.
This single barrel bottling is very limited due to the exclusive use of one barrel; only a total of 161 bottles were filled. So it's no wonder that this whiskey is one of the Rare Cask series. The Macduff 14 Years does not use any coloring or chill filtration, which preserves the natural character of the whiskey.
