Macallan 12 Years Double Cask
The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old represents a harmonious combination of classic Macallan quality with the characteristic sweetness of American oak. This fine single malt whisky is created by maturing in two different types of casks: traditional European oak casks that were previously filled with sherry and American oak casks that were also used to store sherry. This careful selection of casks gives the whisky a complex and multi-layered taste structure.
On the nose, the Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old unfolds seductive aromas of sweet fudge and fresh citrus fruits, accompanied by a hint of floral notes. On the palate, it has a full-bodied body that offers the perfect balance between rich sweetness and gentle spices. The notes of vanilla, cinnamon and a subtle oak note round off the taste experience and ensure a pleasant finish.
