Longrow 18 years 2024
The Longrow 18 Years 2024 is an outstanding example of the craftsmanship of the Springbank distillery, located in the picturesque Campbeltown region of Scotland. This limited edition impresses with its complex aromas and the harmonious balance between peat smoke and fruity notes.
The whisky is matured 90% in sherry casks and 10% in port casks, giving it a deep, varied flavour. The dark amber colour hints at the intense and rich structure that shimmers in the glass.
On the palate, an impressive flavor profile unfolds, characterized by a robust peat-smoky character. Flavors of Black Forest gateau combined with sweet maraschino cherries and dried dates provide a seductive sweetness. This is complemented by the elegant bitterness of a dark chocolate ganache, which adds a luxurious depth to the experience.
