This carefully selected single cask bottling, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2024, embodies the characteristic features of the renowned Longmorn distillery, located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
Nose: As soon as you swirl the glass for the first time, a beguiling scent unfolds, reminiscent of a ripe fruit basket. Notes of green apple and juicy, ripe pears dominate the nose and create a harmonious interplay. After a few minutes of rest, the bouquet develops further and reveals seductive nuances of flower-like honey and a rich fruit compote, which further enriches the complex play of aromas.
Palate: The first sip surprises with a remarkable softness and roundness that lacks any burning sensation. The fruity aromas continue, with the green apple coming to the fore again and combining with voluminous flavor nuances shaped by the barrel storage. The perfectly balanced components ensure a harmonious mouthfeel and invite you to linger.
Aftertaste: The finish of the Longmorn 17 years is extremely long and lasting. The green apple gradually gives way to a delicious, ripe fruit compote that takes the taste buds on a journey of taste.
