Lochlea Sowing Edition Second Crop

Lochlea lets nature flow into the whiskey with the "Seasonal Releases". Each season corresponds to a different bottling that tells the story of the farm. The Lochlea Sowing Edition (Second Crop) shows how the seed is sown in spring. But even a year later, the development of the whiskey can be felt in the latest bottling. A unique taste experience that captures nature in every bottle.

For Second Crop, the single malt was stored in special first-fill bourbon barrels lined up higher in the warehouse. Thanks to the higher heat exposure during ripening, an interesting variety of flavors unfolds: first you taste sweet red apples and ripe pears, followed by vanilla beans and almond oil. The aftertaste is refreshing and reminiscent of a forest walk through pine trees.
