Loch Lomond Steam & Fire Heavily Charred

The Loch Lomond Steam & Fire is an exceptional single malt created using Scotland's unique Straight Neck Pot Stills and more traditional Swan Neck Pot Stills. This gives it its characteristic fruity signature style. Distillation takes place twice, resulting in exceptional whiskey purity.

Following distillation, the Loch Lomond Steam & Fire matures for a certain period of time in American oak barrels. He goes through three different cask types before enjoying his 10-month finish in the First Fill Heavily Charred Casks. These casks are charred at Loch Lomond's award-winning cooperage and the high burn produces a melted brown sugar character and a rich, buttery mouthfeel, complemented by notes of orange and dark chocolate.
