The latest edition of the Cask Proof is a real treat for all whiskey enthusiasts. The first batch of this limited edition was distilled on February 7th, 2018 and bottled on November 22nd, 2023. During this time the whiskey was able to develop and unfold its full aroma and unique characteristics.
The secret of the exceptional taste of the Langatun Cask Proof Distillery Edition lies in the maturation in a Nero d'Avola Red Wine barrel from Sicily/Southern Italy. This cask has given the whiskey a perfectly balanced cask strength of 61.9%, which perfectly complements the aroma of the Nero d'Avola.
The Langatun Distillery has earned an excellent reputation for producing high quality whiskeys and the Cask Proof Distillery Edition is another gem in their collection. The limited edition of just 140 bottles makes the Langatun Cask Proof Distillery Edition a particularly rare and sought-after whiskey.
