Kujira 5 Years Ryukyu Whisky
In the subtropical climate of Okinawa, the southernmost region of Japan, we aged the Kujira 5 Years Ryukyu Whisky in virgin white oak barrels. This procedure gives the whisky an exceptional quality that is recognized by numerous international awards. The whisky is characterized by its woody scent and dark, fruity aromas. The body is smooth and soft and is enveloped in a sweet aroma that takes the palate on an unforgettable journey.
The nose is filled with a sweet scent of caramel, vanilla and a hint of liquorice. The oak barrels bring woody and spicy notes to the whisky, giving it a distinctive character. This is the result of a carefully selected wood material and an elaborate maturation period.
On the tongue, the Kujira 5 year old Ryukyu whisky unfolds with a wonderful caramel taste, accompanied by fresh vanilla notes. Light tannins from the oak barrels give the whisky an attractive texture that melts on the tongue.
