The Kilchoman whiskey journey just keeps getting better! After the resounding success of the 2020 Fino Sherry Matured Edition, there will be more of them in 2023. This time the talented people at Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin have selected 20 unique and special Fino Sherry Butts for aging - and I can tell you that the five years of aging was worth every second. The result? A deliciously dry saltiness with hints of green fruit and the typical Islay peat smoke on the finish. Yummy!
Tasting Notes:
Discover a sweet honeycomb flavor right at the start, slowly fading into creamy caramel and toffee. Kilchoman's spirit adds an exciting blend of citrus and candied fruit while the subtle smoky note of slivered almonds lingers in the background.
