This year, Kilchoman has continued its journey of celebrations and firsts! They proudly presented the first-ever cognac cask aging - The Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured Release 2023. 32 cognac casks from Tonellerie Bossuet in France were selected to be aged in Kilchoman's warehouses for a minimum of six years. When these individual flavors are combined, an incredible blend is created: sweet spices in perfect balance with maritime peat smoke - really something special!
Tasting Notes:
Imagine a buttery texture that envelops your palate as it meanders through the lingering flavors of dried lemon and apricot, cinnamon and nutmeg. The complexity comes alive with toasted oak nuances that carry the sweet peat smoke into an elegant finish.
