The Sanctum of the Deer, named after the famous island of Jura, is a single malt Scotch whisky that has been stored in a first fill Oloroso sherry barrique and therefore has a unique taste profile.
Preserving the unspoilt landscape of Jura is at the heart of this whisky and is reflected in the taste. White hyacinths and the scent of morning blossoms combine with tangy lemon peel and a hint of fresh laundry. The taste is complex and deep, with aromas of dark berries, chocolate and a hint of cinnamon that leaves a pleasant warmth on the palate.
