Invergordon 47 Years Exquisite Casks
The InverGordon 1977 is an exquisite single grain Scotch whisky that has an impressive 47 years of maturation. Distilled on November 23, 1977 and bottled on December 4, 2024 from a bourbon barrel (cask no. 7), it presents itself with 43, 6% vol. in an elegant wooden box.
The nose reveals a delicate scent of forest honey and polished oak, complemented by warm beeswax notes and creamy vanilla sauce. The palate surprises with intense sweetness, where candied apples, creamy toffee and fruity balance through apricots and candied ginger come to the fore. The medium-length finish convinces with a harmonious blend of sweet, cereal notes and a citrus liveliness, rounded off by spicy cinnamon and dry oak notes that add depth and elegance to the overall experience.
