Holyrood Distillery Arrival
The Holyrood Arrival is the first single malt from the Edinburgh craft distillery Holyrood Distillery. The distillery was founded in 2019 and is bringing single malt production back to Edinburgh after over 100 years. She combines traditional craftsmanship with bold, new ideas and experiments with malt types, fermentation and special barrels.
The Arrival matures in a combination of sherry, bourbon and rum casks and is an impressive dram with a flavor spectrum of dried fruits, butterscotch sweetness and ginger spice. A total of 8,188 bottles were filled in brown color and beer bottle silhouette, which were designed as a homage to Edinburgh's brewing and glass history.
