The Hinch 12 Years Amarone Finish Irish Whiskey represents an exquisite synthesis of tradition and innovation. After 11 years of maturation in carefully selected ex-bourbon casks, this whiskey is finished in 500-litre Amarone casks, giving it a distinctive note. This special maturation allows the characteristic aromas of the Amarone wine, known for its full-bodied and complex fruit aromas, to be integrated into the whiskey.

With an alcohol content of 46% vol., the bouquet of the Hinch 12 Years Amarone Finish unfolds from the very first nosing. The floral fruit notes captivate the senses and awaken memories of flowering gardens. Elderberries and plums complement the aroma and create an inviting base. The whiskey is particularly multifaceted in taste: dark fruits dominate, while blackcurrants and juicy plums are in the foreground. These are harmoniously complemented by the fruity notes of sour cherries, red apples and ripe pears, which provide a refreshing complexity.
