Glendronach 21 years Parliament 2023
The Glendronach distillery was closed from 1996 to 2002. As such, the release of 21 year old Glendronach Parliament 2023 marks a long awaited return to age claims. All previous bottlings released in the last ~6 years are believed to have been over 21 years old.
By aging in a combination of the best Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for at least 21 years and bottling at 48%, the "Parliament" continues the great Glendronach tradition of offering fruity intensity in its single malts. This rich whiskey was named "Parliament" after the colony, or "parlament", of ravens that have nested in the trees overlooking GlenDronach Distillery for almost 200 years.
