Billy Walker, a 50-year whiskey blending veteran, has poured his expertise into The GlenAllachie Cuvée Cask Finish 2012/2022. A seasoned pro at selecting and pairing casks from the Cuvée collections, Billy now offers an official vintage that celebrates this timeless artistry.
Tasting Notes:
A lush and complex bouquet of orange blossoms, espresso beans, maraschino cherries and honeysuckle beguiles the nose. The flavor notes are a symphony - candied stone fruit harmonizes with toasted hazelnuts while lavender dances on a bed of cinnamon. Delicious dark chocolate meets red currants that mingle with crystallized almonds to confuse the senses. The whole thing culminates in a finish with delicate ginger and liquorice aromas, which are overlaid by blackberries with orange zest!
