Maturation in carefully selected Pedro Ximénez Sherry Puncheons gives this whisky a distinctive depth and complexity. The range of flavours ranges from luscious chocolate truffles, which offer a seductive sweetness and creamy texture, to dark cherries soaked in delicate maraschino syrup. These fruity notes harmonise perfectly with the subtle nuances of dried fruit and spices, which fade into the background and add an elegant sophistication to the overall picture.
