Glen Scotia Victoriana
The new Glen Scotia Victoriana is now available in a new edition and it has it all. Matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in heavily burned oak casks, this single malt whiskey is non-chill filtered. With 54.2% vol., the ocher Glen Scotia Victoriana brings the sweetness of vanilla and currant jam, but also the spiciness of oak wood in the finish. It thus leads to a very special and gentle balance of aromas and a strong and intense taste, an incomparable experience.
Glen Scotia is a small but fine whiskey distillery in Campbeltown . It went through difficult times but still became one of the best whiskey distilleries. The influential whiskey maker continues to produce truly special whiskeys using traditional methods. What's special about it is that the curious can tour the original 1830s mash tun, distillery, and lumberyard. These have been preserved down to the smallest detail for over a century - an impressive achievement.
