Glen Garioch 12 years Chairman's Stock
The Glen Garioch 16 Years is an outstanding representative of Highland whiskies, produced at the renowned Glen Garioch Distillery. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in November 2024, this single malt showcases the artistry and craftsmanship for which the distillery is known.
The maturation over a period of 16 years, the last four of which were in a special Amontillado cask, gives this whisky a complex and fascinating taste structure. The high alcohol content of 56.6% vol. underlines the intensity and depth of the aromas.
On the nose, a seductive bouquet of dark chocolate unfolds, harmonizing with the sweet notes of brandy beans. This is complemented by fruity accents of juicy mandarin oranges, which offer a fresh contrast. On the palate, the elegance of the whisky is revealed with a rich taste of date cake and walnuts, which provides a pleasant sweetness.
