Elsburn 11 Years 2011/2023 Cream Sherry
The ElsBurn 11 Year Old 2011/2023 Cream Sherry from the Hercynian Distilling Co. is a very special bottling. The special thing about this single malt whiskey is that it was bottled from a hogshead that had previously been topped with cream sherry. The number 759 hogshead was refined with a semi-dry Oloroso sherry, which was blended with naturally sweet wine or concentrated grape must.
ElsBurn is a cask-strength whiskey that matured for more than 11 years in First Fill Cream Sherry Hogshead. The single malt consists of light, non-smoky malt and roasted chocolate malt. This whiskey has a deep golden color in the glass and exudes a fruity scent.
Malty notes, sweet dried fruit, dark chocolate and almonds celebrate an aroma festival on the nose and palate. The creamy consistency of the whiskey is a drinking pleasure for every sherry lover. The full-bodied taste and sensitive aroma make the ElsBurn a fantastic choice for connoisseurs and collectors.
