Distilled on January 28, 2012 and bottled on September 17, 2024, this whisky, with its 12 years of maturation, offers a harmonious balance of tradition and innovative barrel storage.
The origin of Edradour lies in the picturesque Highlands of Scotland, a region known for its first-class whiskies and impressive nature. The choice of wooden barrel plays a decisive role in the aroma of the whisky . For this bottling, both first fill bourbon barrels and a specially selected St. Laurent barrique barrel were used, which gives the whisky a unique character. The finish in a barrique from the Singer-Fischer winery in Ingelheim, which looks back on a long tradition of winemaking, contributes significantly to the complex taste profile.
