Dingle Lunasa Wheel of the Year Series
The Dingle Lunasa Wheel of the Year Series is a unique collection of limited edition whiskeys based on the Celtic Wheel of the Year. The series includes a total of eight special bottlings, each of which corresponds to one of the annual periods of the Celtic solar calendar. Dingle Distillery is renowned for its artisanal methods and ability to bring Ireland's thousands of years of history to life in its whiskeys.
The Lunasa Single Malt is the latest addition to this impressive series. It is aimed at the Celtic festival that bears the name of the deity Lugh. Lugh created the festival in memory of his foster mother, Tailtiu, who was the Earth Mother who kept watch over Ireland's fertile landscapes. The Lunasa single malt pays homage to this important Celtic legend and the importance of the festival.
This delightful whiskey was matured in bourbon casks and given an exquisite finish in bourbon casks by Widow Jane of Brooklyn, New York. The Lunasa has a rich and full flavor with notes of red berries, salted caramel, ginger and spices. It's a perfect choice for fall and will certainly get you excited for the season ahead.
