The Diageo Spirited Xchange Special Release 2023 gift set is an absolute must-have for every lover of single malt Scotch whiskies! In this exclusive collection you will find four unique and incomparable whiskies that celebrate the global influence of Scotch whisky and express the special characteristics of each distillery.
Let's start with the Singleton of Glendullan "The Silken Gown" whisky, which has been aged for 14 years in French oak casks made from Chardonnay de Bourgogne. This whisky impresses with its sweet notes of peach Haribo, rhubarb, lemon candy, barley sugar, cream and sour apple.
Next we have the Talisker "The Wild Explorador" whisky, which impresses with its spicy taste and dark fruit and sea salt aroma. This whisky has been aged in white, tawny and ruby port casks, which give it its unique flavor notes.
The Lagavulin "The Ink of Legends" whisky with a maturation period of 12 years is another highlight of the set. This whisky was stored in Don Julio Añejo Tequila barrels and impresses with its herbal and juicy plum aromas.
Last but not least is the Roseisle "The Origami Kite" whisky, which was aged for 12 years in first-fill and refill ex-bourbon casks. This whisky is characterized by its sweet vanilla note and hint of molasses.
