Dailuaine Years Chairman's Stock
The Dailuaine 15 Years Chairman's Stock is an outstanding single malt whisky distilled in 2009 and bottled in November 2024. With an alcohol content of 52.2% ABV, this whisky shows the many facets that the Dailuaine distillery has to offer.
After an initial maturation, the whisky was transferred to a ruby port cask in 2020, which enriches its taste in a remarkable way. The decision to transfer this whisky to a port cask gives it an exquisite complexity and depth that is evident in every sip.
The aroma palette opens with tantalizing notes of fruity plum cake, reminiscent of savory dessert moments. Soft cherries and dried strawberries round off the flavor profile and provide a fruity freshness that enhances the palate pleasure. In the middle, the smoky, savory nuances of perfectly fried bacon unfold, giving the whisky an interesting twist and harmoniously balancing the sweet elements.
